People have asked me about my hobbies and I always tell them I do etch-a-sketch art. It's very Zen, since none of my pieces are fixed (drained, plugged and glued to make the image permanent). Living with 2 cats in earthquake country, it makes the artwork very vulnerable. I'm glad that I'm finally able to photograph my existing work (with my new digital camera). So now, if I lose a piece to the forces of cats or nature, I can just look at it as an opportunity to create something new on a blank canvas. Enjoy.
